• Facilitating discussions about end-of-life preferences between individuals and their loved ones. 

• Educating loved ones about end-of-life.

• Providing respite care (hourly or package).

• Providing emotional support and presence for the dying person and/or loved ones.

• Assisting with organising keepsakes or legacy pieces for loved ones.

• Education around legal documentation.

• Attending medical appointments with individuals or family members.

• Liaising with additional support services as needed.

• Planning a funeral and/or a living wakes.

• Providing a presence during the time of death (vigil).

• Offering grief and bereavement support for loved ones after death.

• Organising cool plate hire (an extra cost) which will enable you to keep your loved one at home after death has occured. A cool plate slows down the process which means you can have extra time with them before they are picked up by your chosen funeral director.
